Photos: the Zoo, First day of school and Lifeskills classes

We're going to the Zoo!
Grade Schoolers and the Get Ready Girls got a chance to visit the Ta Mao Zoo last Friday! All thanks to a group of volunteers from Women on a Mission. They got to see monkeys, sunbears, and had loads of fun!

Wooo! Let me get a closer look of the bears!!!

You can't find pink giraffes and blue tigers anywhere else but here!

Look at all the outstretched hands of eager kids trying to get popsicles from the Ice-cream man!

After we look at the animals, we play ball!

First day of School!
I never did like my first day of school. Judging from their faces, they didn't look keen on school either. But don't they look smart in their school uniforms, special thanks to Women on a Mission for donating them!

' Oh no! The teachers look fierce!'. Very worried faces before school starts.

Look at our snazzy new schools bags! (Special thanks to SIA and donors donating the bags!)

Lifeskills classes
The Get Ready Girls attend Lifeskills lessons where they learn things like physical education, personal hygiene and grooming, nutrition and most important of all, being there for one another.
Check out the pictures below and spot the future hairdressers and seamstresses!

Seamstress in the making: taking measurements.

The price of beauty: Ouch! We need gentler hairdressers!
