Saying our Thank yous

We really should be doing this regularly but things are - as usual - in a mess in the office.
But! We manage somehow.

There are 3 great people/groups to thank today.

First off, there's Sheila Wee who did a storytelling workshop at her own parish, St Ignatius Church in early November. She got participants to make a "love offering" in aid of Riverkids and garnered a total of S$640 for us! that was excellent as it helped to pay a part of the cost of our accountancy services here in Singapore!

Next, there's IKEA Singapore. We would like to especially thank Kadir, the sales representative who helped us with our payments though we made him wait for quite a bit at the counter while we went off to run some errands nearby *gulp*.

Thanks to IKEA, we got several new toys which are not only highly kiddy-proof, but educational as well. Furthermore, the GORM shelf we got from them also helped us a lot in terms of inventory storage solutions. And all this at a corporate discounted price!

Last but not least, the Women on Missions gave us an excellent surprise in the mail this afternoon. If you remember, they brought the Alexandra kids to the zoo in October and the kids had a blast! And to add to that, they decided to contribute a large sum of money - a whopping $6000 - to Riverkids' cause! The S$6000 can be used to do so so so much!

Thank you! All of you!

I'm sure there're people that we have yet to thank. But no matter what, we really are appreciative of all the effort our donors and volunteers have put in for us. There's no amount too small for us and there's no help too insignificant for us.

Thank you.
