We did fairly well yesterday at the stall, earning nearly S$600 considering the number of people around. What's funny was that we chose to bring along our christmas ornaments as well (the silk turtles and butterflies from the online shop) in a last minute hope to clear more of the christmas stock before keeping them in storage. Well, the ornaments didn't sell as well as before Christmas but they did attract people to the stall.
Here's our booth - three 5 foot long tables - ample of space for all our stuff and volunteers to sit comfortably. Of course as usual, everyone ran away when I took my camera out to take photos.
So to our invisible volunteers - Tasha, Samantha, Fauzi and Wendy - Thank you!
One of my main aim yesterday was to sell this Hug Me doll from Rajana as well. I took it out of the wrapper and placed it out for all to see. The doll did attract some kids to come along but Samantha and I probably looked too eager to sell it that the kids decided to get something else... hmmm...
Well, we're be bringing it around during fairs in future too so if you like it, do come down then.
Our next fair's on the 2-3 of Feb at the Arts House. Hope to see you there!
