Riverkids educational system

A pretty good diagram of our school process!

We're transferring our records from a collection of spreadsheets to a database that will track events. This is kinda tough to do, but so worthwhile. Right now, it takes us a day or two to pull together a child's complete record, this way, we'll be able to get it in under an hour.

The amazing scary reason for this is that Riverkids is way past 250 kids.

I can still remember so clearly standing in a borrowed classroom with the 27 kids that made up our first real class, and thinking wow.

Now it's wow!

A bunch more blogposts coming up tonight - the revised salaries, first quarter financials, weekly reports - a lot of this is thanks to Ashley Fairuz, our new Singapore employee. Ashley's working part-time from home doing paperwork, admin and the huge list of to-do's we have. Her email is: ashley@riverkidsproject.org
