Recognition of Our Very Valuable, Vivacious, Visionary, Vigilant Volunteers

We have many great people that come to help out at Riverkids. Some from abroad and some from right here in Phnom Penh.

During September and October, Emma Harris, a talented teacher from England is sharing her skills with our students and staff. Emma's classes are calming and creative with unending smiles from everyone involved. One of the projects she is working on is Bookmaking. Each child at Steven House will complete a book that tells about themselves using symbolism and other critical thinking skills.

Every Saturday a group of university students teach the Kindergarten and Steven House classes. Some will be leaving soon to careers in Psychology and Education and we will miss them greatly. Luckily some will stay and hopefully be able to recruit even more gems like themselves.
