The Rotary Club of Jurong Town invited Riverkids to their weekly Rotary meeting today! It was held over at the Guild House at the National University of Singapore.
After lunch, Dale gave a little presentation of what we do over at Riverkids, peppering her powerpoint slides with gripping anecdotes of what she's seen in the years she worked with families in Phnom Penh.
Response to her presentation was warm as Rotarians enquired further about the situation in Cambodia and expressed their interest in aiding the cause! Some Rotarians suggested the possibility of doing a Rotarian Circuit, where Riverkids (more specifically Dale) visit the various Rotary Clubs in Singapore and pitch about all things RK!
