Sewing Room in Blum House
In March, we opened our newest site, Blum House, and it currently provides a classroom for fifty grade school students. We recently finished renovations on the second floor of Blum House and we had been considering how best to use the space. We decided that it would be perfect for the Bright Girls sewing room. The previous sewing room, in the Family House, was quite small, and between all the sewing machines there was barely any space for the girls to work. The new sewing room in Blum is much larger and there’s now space for a table for cutting fabric. The old room in the Family House will now be used for the Get Ready girls’ English classes.
